Bankruptcy Liquidation and Reorganization Legal Practice Department
The Bankruptcy Liquidation and Restructuring Legal Practice Department of Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm was established in 2020. In accordance with the provisions of the Enterprise Bankruptcy Law and as designated by the court, this department fully performs the duties of a bankruptcy administrator, providing comprehensive commercial information support and offering full-service legal assistance for corporate bankruptcy proceedings throughout the entire process of bankruptcy liquidation and restructuring.

The Government and Public Legal Services Practice Group is one of the earliest practice groups established by our firm. This field places high demands on lawyers’ professional competence and comprehensive service capabilities. In addition to possessing a solid theoretical foundation in administrative law, lawyers must also be proficient in civil, commercial, corporate law, as well as laws governing investment and financing. The Foreign-Related Business Department is a specialized practice unit established by Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm in response to the growing importance of international commercial exchanges and cross-border legal services in an era marked by increasingly robust international trade and communication. The department is staffed by a team of dedicated, mid-career and young lawyers, most of whom have overseas legal education backgrounds or English-language expertise. The Intellectual Property Practice Group is one of the key practice areas of Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm. Comprising a team of dedicated, mid-career and young lawyers, the group boasts solid theoretical foundations and extensive practical experience in areas such as copyright, trademark rights, patent rights, trade secrets, and anti-unfair competition. The group has successfully handled numerous intellectual property cases on multiple occasions, achieving significant influence. The Intellectual Property Practice Group offers a comprehensive range of services covering all aspects of both litigation and non-litigation matters in the field of intellectual property.
Criminal litigation is a traditional area of practice at Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm; from its inception, the firm established a dedicated Criminal Law Department. Currently, the Criminal Law Department comprises 13 lawyers who have graduated from top-tier law schools in China. This elite team, meticulously cultivated by the firm, includes Liu Hule, a member of the Criminal Law Specialized Committee of the All-China Lawyers Association and a renowned criminal defense expert; Wan Li, the Vice President of the Yunnan Provincial Lawyers Association and head of the Yunnan Provincial Professional Committee on Criminal Defense; as well as a group of university teachers who teach criminal law at institutions such as Yunnan University and the Yunnan Police College.
