Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm (hereafter referred to as the Firm) was established on March 8, 2000, formerly known as L.H.L&Lawyers （Yunnan）, which was founded by four famous lawyers, including Wan Li and Liu Hule. The Firm was renamed "Zhongji" at the beginning of 2021 and its office address was moved to Zhongji Law Firm Building, Building 1, Xifu Jingyuan, No. 730, Renmin West Road, Wuhua District, Kunming.

"Zhong" originated from a sentence from Wang Xizhi's Preface of the Orchid Pavilion, "the attendees of the gathering are all virtuous intellectuals", while "Ji" originated from Mencius's Chapter I of Analysis of Sentences and Phrases, "in success, one tries to let others be benefited". "Zhongji" implies that "attendees are all virtuous intellectuals and making the whole world benefited". We inherit the cultural tradition of the Firm's like-mindedness and craving for talents, emphasize the inclusive attitude in reform and innovation, and show the social responsibility for building morality and the spirit of laws.

After the renaming, the Firm was moved to the purchased new office building located in Building 1, Xifu Jingyuan, No. 730, Renmin West Road, Wuhua District, Kunming. The new office building is an independent office building with five floors above ground and one floor below the ground, with an actual use area of more than 7,000 square meters and more than 40 underground parking spots. The Firm is among the few law firms with large-scale independent office buildings in Yunnan Province and even across the country.

A new name comes with a new look, while a new journey starts on the new site. In terms of space design, Zhongji Office Building leaves an impression of profound history, solid foundation, inclusiveness, and integrity on clients; gives employees a feeling of self-improvement, virtue, warmth, and inclusiveness; and shoulders the responsibility of being kind, honest, trustworthy, and dedication for the community. A modern building with an area of more than 7,000 square meters stands in the west of Kunming as a landmark. It is a warm harbor for all people. We will continue to set sail and press ahead from here.

After more than 20 years of continuous and steady development, the Firm has formed a professional team dominated by young and middle-aged lawyers in a reasonable proportion, who have strong professional abilities and a reputation in the domestic legal service. The Firm focuses on the professional construction of legal services. Many lawyers have professional and technical titles or qualifications in the fields of engineers, physicians, certified public accountants, certified tax agents, securities professional qualifications, futures professional qualifications, etc.
