Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm (formerly Yunnan Liu Hule Law Firm) was established on March 16, 2000, initiated by four renowned lawyers including Liu Hule and Wan Li. In a short period of time, the firm has attracted a group of well-known lawyers who are highly competent and enjoy an excellent reputation in society. After more than a decade of steady and sustainable development, the firm now has nearly one hundred members, including senior partners, general partners, practicing lawyers, and administrative and support staff.

U.S. Office

The U.S. office was established on February 1, 2020, by Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm in Irvine, a city located south of Los Angeles in California, USA. It is the first permanent overseas presence of the southwestern legal services industry in North America.

Baoshan Branch Office

Yunnan Zhongji (Baoshan) Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as Zhongji Baoshan Branch) was founded on December 21, 2021, with the approval of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Justice. It was initiated by six senior lawyers—Yang Enlong, Wang Wenyong, Gao Dapeng, Liu Ronghua, He Jianxiong, and Zhang Yunhong—and adopts a development strategy centered on “standardization, scaling, specialization, branding, and internationalization.” On February 25, 2022, the Zhongji Baoshan Branch officially commenced operations, opening its doors on the third floor, west side of Yongchang Hall in Longyang District, Baoshan City. Also in the same year, the Party Branch Committee of the Yunnan Zhongji (Baoshan) Law Firm was approved and established. The firm occupies an area of over 600 square meters and currently employs 26 practicing lawyers, 9 trainee lawyers, 16 lawyer members of the Communist Party, and 2 administrative staff (including 1 administrative supervisor and 1 accountant). The firm has assembled a team of highly skilled and well-regarded professional lawyers.

Yuxi Branch Office

Yunnan Zhongji (Yuxi) Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as Zhongji Yuxi Branch) was approved by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Justice on April 25, 2022. The firm currently occupies an office space of 700 square meters, located on the 2nd floor, Building 1, Dongxing Commercial Plaza, No. 32 Huanshan Road, Hongta District, Yuxi City. Its practice areas encompass specialized legal services in the following fields: government and public service law, construction and real estate law, state-owned enterprise law, food and intellectual property law, education and school law, civil and commercial law as well as arbitration law, criminal law, corporate compliance and tax & financial law, financial and insurance law, labor, medical care and social security, and foreign-related legal matters.

Pu'er Branch Office

In response to the investment promotion policies of the Pu'er Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and with the support of the Pu'er Municipal Justice Bureau, Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm absorbed and merged the former Yunnan Sirun Law Firm, establishing Yunnan Zhongji (Pu'er) Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as the Zhongji Pu'er Branch) in Pu'er City on December 15, 2022.

Yunnan Zhongji (Kunming Area of Yunnan Free Trade Zone) Law Firm is a local branch of Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm. Upholding the fine traditions of the parent firm—a nationally recognized, outstanding law firm—this branch boasts a solid professional foundation, a conscientious and diligent service ethos, and practical, efficient working capabilities. It is a comprehensive law firm whose practice areas cover both litigation and non-litigation specialties in civil, criminal, and administrative fields.

Yunnan Zhongji (Dehong) Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as Zhongji Dehong Branch) was established on October 30, 2023. It is located on the third floor of Dabai Hotel, No. 87 Mangshi Avenue, Mangshi County, Dehong Prefecture, with an office space of 520 square meters. Currently, the firm has 9 practicing lawyers (including 4 Party-member lawyers) and 3 trainee lawyers. The lawyers leading our firm’s environmental and resource law practice team all possess extensive practical experience and a solid theoretical foundation. Bankruptcy Liquidation and Reorganization Legal Practice Department

The Bankruptcy Liquidation and Restructuring Legal Practice Department of Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm was established in 2020. In accordance with the provisions of the Enterprise Bankruptcy Law and as designated by the court, this department fully performs the duties of a bankruptcy administrator, providing comprehensive commercial information support and offering full-service legal assistance for corporate bankruptcy proceedings throughout the entire process of bankruptcy liquidation and restructuring.

The Government and Public Legal Services Practice Group is one of the earliest practice groups established by our firm. This field places high demands on lawyers’ professional competence and comprehensive service capabilities. In addition to possessing a solid theoretical foundation in administrative law, lawyers must also be proficient in civil, commercial, corporate law, as well as laws governing investment and financing.
