U.S. Office
The U.S. office was established on February 1, 2020, by Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm in Irvine, a city located south of Los Angeles in California, USA. It is the first permanent overseas presence of the Southwest legal services industry in North America.
The U.S. office aims to assist Chinese enterprises and citizens in going global, while also providing tailored, seamless cross-border legal services to North American clients and overseas Chinese communities that conduct business with Southwest China and Southeast Asia.
The U.S. office is managed on a daily basis and its business development is overseen by Attorney Zhang Qian, a senior partner at Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm. She has long been engaged in foreign-related legal services and possesses extensive professional knowledge and practical experience in cross-border trade, investment and financing, compliance management for multinational corporations, and intellectual property law.
Scope of Services: Due diligence on foreign-related commercial transactions involving enterprises; assisting Chinese enterprises in mitigating legal risks by establishing and improving mechanisms for preventing and managing overseas investment and financing risks as well as safeguarding their rights and interests; foreign intellectual property management services; and selecting and managing local agents in foreign-related litigation, arbitration, and non-litigation matters.
Our firm is divided into several business departments based on their respective areas of practice, including: Criminal Law Department, Civil Law Department, Administrative Law Department, Financial and Securities Department, Construction and Real Estate Department, Intellectual Property Department, and Labor and Healthcare Department.
