Professional Experience:
From December 2010 to May 2013, I worked as an intern lawyer and then as a full-time lawyer at Lingyun (Qujing) Law Firm in Yunnan.
From May 2013 to October 2023, served as Executive Director and Senior Partner at Yunnan Quanzhong Law Firm.
From October 2023 to January 2024, I worked at Lingyun (Qujing) Law Firm in Yunnan, serving as the director of the Owners’ Committee.
Since February 2024, has served as Executive Director and Partner at Yunnan Zhongji (Qujing) Law Firm.
Representative performance:
1. Performance in defense work
Providing defense in the major criminal case involving Yunnan Fengrui Oils & Fats Co., Ltd. on suspicion of producing toxic and harmful food;
To appear in court and perform defense duties for multiple former leading cadres at the bureau level;
The defense work for the official misconduct case involving the Yunnan Fire Brigade, in which I participated as part of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection’s investigation, was designated as a demonstration court for cautionary education, achieving positive legal, social, and political outcomes.
The intentional homicide case involving Cai from Qujing, reported by CCTV Channel 12, was re-sentenced from the death penalty with immediate execution to death with a two-year reprieve following defense arguments.
We provide criminal defense services for numerous entrepreneurs, putting into practice the policy of minimizing arrests and exercising caution in prosecution when dealing with crimes committed by private-sector entrepreneurs.
2. Serve as a grassroots consultant
Served as legal counsel for 12 grassroots organizations; successfully resolved the long-term petitioning issues of Chen and Wang within the jurisdiction and obtained their signed commitments to cease petitioning and withdraw lawsuits.
3. Public welfare undertakings
Prepare an administrative enforcement guideline for the Qujing Civil Affairs Bureau on launching a special rectification campaign targeting “zombie” social organizations.
Community Correction Law Publicity Session: Legal Training for Corrective Subjects in Cuifeng Subdistrict
Deliver lectures on essential legal knowledge for migrant workers.
Provide legal training for staff members of public institutions in Luliang County;
Give a briefing to grid workers on enhancing their legal literacy to lay a solid legal foundation for resolving conflicts and disputes.
To give a briefing on the laws, regulations, and policies for social organizations organized by the Qujing Civil Affairs Bureau;
Conducting lectures on juvenile delinquency prevention for Qujing Agricultural School and Qujing School of Industry and Commerce.
Several legal awareness sessions on “Eliminating Evil and Combating Gangs” were conducted for the community.
