The U.S. office of Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm Opens a New Chapter in Cross-Border Legal Services.
As the second decade of the 21st century begins—and coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm (formerly Yunnan Liu Hule Law Firm)—our firm’s U.S. office has officially been established in the state of California, USA. Since its founding in 2000, Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm has embraced “accumulating strength steadily for a powerful burst” as its corporate ethos and has consistently upheld “going global” as its guiding principle. After careful deliberation and thorough preparation, Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm officially established the Zhongji Law Firm U.S. Office on February 1, 2020, in Irvine, a city located in the southern part of Los Angeles, USA.

After rigorous deliberation and thorough preparation, Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm officially established the Zhongji Law Office U.S. Office in Irvine, located in southern Los Angeles, USA, on February 1, 2020.
On the afternoon of January 12, 2021, Zhou Yuansheng, Director of the Lawyers’ Work Bureau of the Ministry of Justice; Yan Guo, Deputy Secretary-General of the All China Lawyers Association; Liu Chunhua, Director of the Division for Foreign-Related and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs of the Lawyers’ Work Bureau of the Ministry of Justice; and Li Kai'ang, First-Level Chief Staff Member of the Lawyers’ Work Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, visited Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm (formerly Yunnan Liu Hule Law Firm) to provide guidance and conduct a research study on the Party building work among lawyers. Zhao Zuping, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Justice, as well as Party Secretary of the provincial lawyers’ industry; Wan Li, President of the Yunnan Provincial Lawyers Association; and Li Jiangan, Director of the Lawyers’ Work Management Division of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Justice and Secretary-General of the Yunnan Provincial Lawyers Association, accompanied the research team. The research focused primarily on the current status of Party building in the legal profession, the practice environment for lawyers, and the development of the legal profession. Accompanied by Wan Li, Director of Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm, and its staff, the research team toured the new office building of Yunnan Zhongji Law Firm.
On February 26, the People's Procuratorate of Yunnan Province and the Department of Justice of Yunnan Province held a symposium titled “Strengthening Collaboration Between Prosecutors and Lawyers to Promote Judicial Fairness” at the Zhongji Law Firm in Yunnan. Wang Guanghui, Party Secretary and Procurator-General of the Provincial People's Procuratorate, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Zhao Zuping, a member of the Party Committee of the Provincial Department of Justice, Deputy Director of the Department, and Party Secretary of the provincial lawyers’ industry, chaired the meeting. Huang Weihua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Executive Deputy Procurator-General of the Provincial People's Procuratorate, Wan Li, President of the Provincial Lawyers Association, and representatives of lawyers also attended the meeting.
