Since beginning her legal practice in 2013, Attorney Li Huijuan has specialized in providing legal services to governments and state-owned enterprises. She has long served as the regular legal counsel for numerous organizations, including the Foreign Affairs Office of the Yunnan Provincial Government, the Market Supervision Administration of Guandu District, Kunming City, the Guandu Branch of the Agricultural Development Bank of China in Kunming, the Panjiawan Branch of the Agricultural Development Bank of China in Kunming, Yunnan Yuntou Kangyang Investment Co., Ltd., Horizon International Joint Venture, Yunnan Puzhehei Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., Yunnan Daxingxing Happy Park Entertainment Co., Ltd., and Yunnan College of Tourism and Vocational Studies.
Attorney Li Huijuan previously served as a part-time arbitrator in labor dispute cases and thus possesses extensive experience in handling corporate labor disputes and preventing legal risks associated with such disputes, achieving remarkable results. She represented Dianhong Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. in a labor dispute arbitration case involving over a thousand employees, successfully resolving the company’s longstanding issues related to social insurance contributions for its staff. To date, this case remains the largest labor dispute arbitration case in Yunnan Province in terms of the number of involved parties and the broadest scope of impact. In another case she handled—representing Yunnan Jinyuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. against a certain employee—she successfully reduced the company’s compensation payment from tens of millions of yuan to just tens of thousands, thereby saving the company substantial financial losses. In addition, Attorney Li Huijuan has achieved comprehensive victories in dozens of labor dispute cases she has handled on behalf of various enterprises, with consistently positive outcomes.
Attorney Li Huijuan is also highly skilled in handling civil and commercial disputes, well-versed in corporate governance and legal risk prevention. She has handled civil and commercial disputes for numerous state-owned enterprises and banks, with the total value of these cases exceeding several hundred million yuan. She has extensive experience in intellectual property litigation, and one of the copyright ownership disputes she handled on behalf of a well-known state-owned enterprise was nominated by the Shanghai Institute of Intellectual Property as one of the “Top Ten Most Research-Valuable Intellectual Property Judicial Cases in China for 2016.”
