Meng Yanjun

Since beginning practice, I have served as legal counsel for numerous state-owned enterprises, public institutions, and private companies, including Yan'an Hospital in Kunming City, Yunnan Tianpeng Highway Port Investment & Development Co., Ltd., Yunnan Guixi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Shilin Tianqi Industrial Co., Ltd., Shilin Electric Power Engineering Development Co., Ltd., and the First People's Hospital of Luquan County, providing them with comprehensive legal services. In 2017, I participated in the Kunming Young Lawyers Debate Competition and emerged as the champion. My paper, “A Preliminary Analysis of the Principles of ‘Presumption of Innocence’ and ‘Lighter Punishment in Cases of Doubt,’” won the “Excellent Paper Award” at the 9th Western Lawyers Development Forum. I have handled numerous litigation cases, including the construction contract dispute between a certain Construction Group Co., Ltd. and a certain Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. in Yunnan, which was heard by the Supreme People’s Court; the construction contract dispute between a certain Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. from Henan and a certain Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. in Zhaotong, which was heard by the Yunnan Provincial Higher People’s Court; and the unjust enrichment dispute between Liu and Li. I have also co-organized several influential criminal cases within the province, such as the bribery and embezzlement case involving Jiang and the alleged fundraising fraud case involving the Pan Asia Center. Throughout my practice, I have consistently upheld the principle of “customer first, meeting clients’ legal service needs,” safeguarding the legal rights and interests of my client organizations in their daily business operations and management. With a serious and responsible attitude, I have made every effort to protect the legitimate rights and interests of my clients in litigation proceedings.
